About
FusionBenchmark is a public record of what fusion devices have measured and how far advanced-reactor developers have got with their regulators. Each figure carries its source, its date and its status.

- 584of 733 figures are design values: what a machine was built to do, not what it has done.

Method
A source is fetched once and stored with a SHA-256 hash of what came back. Figures are taken from that stored copy, not the live page, and every figure enters as claimed. It becomes achieved only when a review opens the source, finds the figure measured on a dated shot, and records the date of that check. Targets stay planned and never enter a ranking.
Fusion gain is never stored on its own. It is held as one of 6 named kinds, each with its numerator and denominator, because one National Ignition Facility shot is a target gain of 1.5 and a wall-plug gain of 0.0078, depending on what is counted in. Corrections are appended to a hash-chained ledger and shown in the changelog; records are downgraded, not deleted. The full rules are in the methodology.
Readers
Journalists checking what a headline figure divides by. Analysts and investors comparing devices and funding by instrument. Policy staff following licensing stages to the docket number. Researchers who want the records as data. The site counts no page views, so it does not know who reads it and does not claim a readership.

FusionBenchmark is run by Hadamard LLC. To report an error, dispute a figure or ask a question, email info@hadamard2.com. Please name the page and, if you can, the source that shows the correct value. Corrections are made in the open and appear on the changelog.
