Atomic Energy Commission of Algeria

The Atomic Energy Commission of Algeria is based in Algiers. It lists four nuclear research centres: Algiers, Birine, Draria and Tamanrasset. Wikipedia's list of research reactors gives the Es Salam heavy-water reactor at Aïn Oussera, 15 megawatts and operational, as operated by the Birine centre, and the 1 megawatt Nur reactor in Algiers as in temporary shutdown.
