Also known as ININ

The Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Nucleares (ININ) is Mexico's national nuclear research institute, a decentralised body under the Secretar铆a de Energ铆a, at La Marquesa in Ocoyoacac, State of Mexico. It traces back to the Comisi贸n Nacional de Energ铆a Nuclear, founded on 1 January 1956; the 1979 Nuclear Law split that body into ININ, the nuclear safety regulator and other entities. It operates a 1-megawatt TRIGA Mark III research reactor, in service since 1968, and provides nuclear products and services to industry and medicine.
