The International Centre for Environmental and Nuclear Sciences (ICENS) is a group of research laboratories at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, in Kingston, Jamaica. It was founded in 1984, when it began operating a SLOWPOKE-2 research reactor provided by the European Economic Community. Its work covers geochemistry, environmental science and nuclear science. The centre has published work on converting the reactor's core from highly enriched to low-enriched uranium.
