What these terms mean

Every classification on this page, defined. These are controlled-vocabulary terms, so the same word means the same thing on every profile.

Supplier
Supplies components, materials or fuel to the sector without developing a reactor or device of its own.
Fuel cycle
Mining, conversion, enrichment, fabrication, reprocessing, waste and tritium supply.
Enrichment
Raising the fissile fraction of uranium. The chokepoint of the fission fuel cycle, and the step with the heaviest non-proliferation constraints.

In Quantum Leap Energy’s own words

Quoted from the organisation’s own site as we archived it. Their description of themselves, not ours, and not a claim this site has checked.

Quantum Leap Energy (QLE) plans to deliver secure, reliable nuclear materials through proprietary enrichment technologies and a robust supply chain. We are developing a scalable and agile solution to meet the world’s accelerating nuclear energy needs.

Our Aerodynamic Separation Process (ASP) and Quantum Enrichment (QE) Technology are targeting to deliver higher selectivity, enabling faster, more efficient isotope production versus incumbent technology.

Our technology will be flexibly situated, with plans for rapid capacity expansion, enabling faster deployment compared to traditional centrifuge technology.

We expect to expand our capabilities across the nuclear fuel cycle, including conversion, enrichment, deconversion, and waste treatment, with the intent of optimizing costs.

By applying advanced technologies, we aim to increase the availability and reliability of enriched materials while strengthening domestic supply and reducing foreign dependence.

We believe our technologies will be capable of enriching uranium and lithium through further development.

We believe our superior modular design, low capital cost, and fast construction cycle as compared to traditional processes, allows for easy plant expansion.

Our proprietary gas-based isotope technology with minimal moving parts, offers lower capital and operating costs than centrifuges.

Mr. Cunniffe has served as our Chief Financial Officer since October 2025. Prior to joining QLE, from April 2023 to October 2025, Mr. Cunniffe served as Managing Director, UK at Danforth Advisors, a life science financial strategy consultancy.

As Chief Technology Officer of Quantum Leap Energy, Nate Salpeter leads technology optimization, rapid learning cycles, and disciplined de-risking efforts to advance QLE's clean energy innovations.

We’re committed to clear dialogue, strong collaboration, and advancing the future of nuclear energy with confidence and integrity. Reach out to us today.
