The Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences is a multidisciplinary research institute in Vinča, Belgrade, founded in 1948 and designated an institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia. It was set up for research in physics, chemistry and biology, and today employs over 300 PhD scientists and over 200 doctoral students.
