TR-2 is a 5 MW thermal pool-type materials-testing research reactor in Istanbul, Türkiye, operated by the Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mineral Research Agency. The IAEA Research Reactor Database lists it as in extended shutdown, with first criticality on 10 December 1981 and shutdown in May 2009.
