At-the-market offering

ATM offering

A way for an already-listed company to sell new shares gradually into the existing public market, at prevailing prices, rather than in one priced block like a traditional secondary offering. It lets a company raise cash incrementally without announcing a single large, dilutive round, which is why the pace and size of ATM sales can be harder for outsiders to track than a conventional funding round. No offering of this kind is currently recorded in this dataset.
