Source independence
A label recording whether a source could have come from the subject itself: independent (could not have come from the subject, such as a peer-reviewed paper or a regulator's docket), operator (the subject's own website or press release), aggregator (a directory that may be copying someone else's material), circular (shown to reproduce this site's own material, never cited as evidence), or unknown, used rather than guessing. A company describing its own machine is always operator, however authoritative it sounds; operator evidence shows what a company says, not that what it says is true.
