The Laboratory for Plasma Physics of Belgium's Royal Military Academy is one of Belgium's two EUROfusion members. EUROfusion says it focuses on plasma heating systems using ion cyclotron resonance heating, a radio-frequency method, including antennas and matching systems. Its work has included heating experiments on JET aimed at ITER-relevant scenarios, wall conditioning, antenna design for the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator, travelling-wave antennas and experiments on the TOMAS toroidal machine.
