Campaign

A planned run of experiments on a device, usually built around a specific fuel, configuration or goal, made up of many individual shots or pulses. JET's third and final deuterium-tritium campaign, in 2023, included the record 69.26 megajoule pulse 104522. A device's best result for a given metric may come from any shot or pulse within a campaign, and a result should be dated to that shot, not to the end of the campaign or the announcement, wherever the source allows.
