The Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion is a Polish research institute that began work on 1 January 1976. It researches plasma produced by high-current discharges and laser pulses, magnetic confinement fusion, plasma diagnostics and plasma technologies including electric propulsion. It employs over 80 people and coordinates Poland's fusion research under the Euratom programme run by EUROfusion. It also set up CeNTE, a centre linking over 20 Polish research institutions and companies.
