The Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear (IEN) is a research unit of Brazil's National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN) in Rio de Janeiro. It operates the Argonauta research reactor, a low-power Argonaut-type reactor in service since 1965, and a CV-28 cyclotron, and runs a radioactive waste store.
