Our technology builds on proven inertial fusion concepts demonstrated at US National Laboratories to provide an affordable, practical, and scalable fusion system.

Our modular pulser lets us optimize for a wide range of target designs, suitable for low-cost power and heat at different scales.

But for fusion power to be commercially viable, we need an approach that combines established science, practical engineering, and affordable manufacturing.

After decades of investment by the US government, the US National Laboratories in 2022 achieved major advances in inertial fusion performance — with both pulsed lasers and pulsed magnetic drivers.

At Pacific Fusion, we’re building on this remarkable progress to construct a high-gain pulsed magnetic fusion system.

Our system is highly modular, enabling affordable manufacturing and rapid iteration. It uses common materials, simplifying supply chains. It’s made of three parts:
