Constellation Energy is a US power generator headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, formed in its present form in 2022 when Exelon split its power generation business from its regulated utilities. Its generation includes nuclear, hydro, natural gas, wind and solar plants, and it describes itself as the largest US producer of clean energy. In September 2024 it agreed with Microsoft to restart the undamaged reactor at the Three Mile Island plant, and in 2026 it filed licence renewals for the Ginna and Nine Mile Point Unit 1 nuclear plants. It bought the gas and geothermal generator Calpine in a deal that closed in January 2026.
