The Fusion Industry Association (FIA) is a non-profit trade association for private fusion companies, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Washington, D.C. It lobbies governments on fusion policy, arguing for public-private partnerships, access to government research, and regulation of fusion separate from that of nuclear fission. According to Wikipedia it has 42 fusion company members and more than 100 affiliate members, including engineering firms, suppliers, utilities and law firms. Membership is voluntary, so its list is not a complete census of the industry.
