OCEM Power Electronics is an Italian manufacturer of power supplies for research facilities, based in Valsamoggia near Bologna, which traces its history to 1943. It builds high-voltage and magnet power supplies and radio-frequency systems for fusion experiments and particle accelerators, and also serves transport, food processing and medical particle therapy. Its published case studies include equipment for the JT-60SA tokamak in Japan and for ITER. The company says it has supplied power converters to more than 50 research facilities in over 20 countries. It belongs to the Italian industrial group Cocchi Technologies (formerly Aretè Cocchi Technology) and markets its systems together with Ampegon Power Electronics.
