Also known as PRINCETON FUSION SYSTEMS

Princeton Fusion Systems is a US company listed in the IAEA World Survey of Fusion Devices as the operator of a planned device called PFRC, the Princeton Field-Reversed Configuration: a compact ring of plasma heated with radio waves, developed at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL). Its web address, princetonfusionsystems.com, now redirects to the fusion page of Princeton Satellite Systems, which says it works with PPPL on the PFRC and on Starfire (formerly Direct Fusion Drive), a PFRC-based concept for a 1 to 10 MW fusion rocket engine that would also produce power. That page says the PFRC-2 experiment is operating at PPPL, with support from the Department of Energy, ARPA-E and NASA.
