Sigmaphi

Sigmaphi is a French company that designs and builds electromagnets for particle accelerators, based in Saint-Avé in Brittany. It says it has worked in this field since 1981 and handles each magnet from design through manufacture to final magnetic measurement. Its customers are in research, medicine (including proton therapy for cancer), industry and energy. It names the SPARC tokamak of Commonwealth Fusion Systems among the machines that use its products, alongside the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and the synchrotron at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland.
