The Center for Energy Research is a research centre at the University of California San Diego. It says its work runs from the physics and chemistry of nuclear fusion, lasers and advanced materials to grid integration, battery storage and solar forecasting. It also coordinates the campus role in CalTestBed, a California Energy Commission voucher programme for testing clean energy technology.
