Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals is a fourth-generation family-owned company that began in 1924 as a scrap-metal business in Wallingford, Connecticut. It re-rolls and distributes precision stainless steel and special metals such as titanium as strip, foil, shaped wire, fine wire and flat wire for aerospace, medical, automotive and industrial customers, and makes copper ribbon for solar panels. It has fourteen locations in five countries and more than 800 employees.
