The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is a research reactor centre at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Its reactor runs at 10 megawatts, which MURR says makes it the highest-power university research reactor in the US, and it has operated since 1966. It is a major producer of medical isotopes. The university plans a new 20-megawatt reactor, NextGen MURR, to expand isotope research and production.
