Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) is a US uranium mining company listed on NYSE American. It produces uranium by in-situ recovery, in which a solution pumped underground dissolves uranium from the ore so that it can be brought to the surface without conventional mining, at operations in Wyoming and South Texas, and says its licensed capacity totals about 12 million pounds a year. It also holds uranium projects in Canada's Athabasca Basin and, through its subsidiary United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp, is pursuing domestic uranium refining and conversion.
