Denison Mines is a Canadian uranium exploration, development and production company whose projects are in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan. It historically mined uranium at Blind River and Elliot Lake in Ontario, where it still manages decommissioned mines. Its main assets are an interest in the McClean Lake mine and the Wheeler River project, its flagship, in which it holds an effective 95% interest and which includes the Phoenix deposit. Korea Electric Power Corporation owns about 15% of the company.
