The Kansai Electric Power Company (Kanden) supplies electricity to the Kansai region of Japan, which includes Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe. Wikipedia describes the region as Japan's most nuclear-reliant: before the 2011 Fukushima accident, 11 reactors north of Osaka and Kyoto supplied almost half its power, and by March 2012 all of them had been taken off the grid. Its site posts operating notices for the Mihama nuclear power station.
