NexGen Energy is a Canadian uranium mining company based in Vancouver and listed in Toronto, New York and Australia. Its main asset is the Rook I project in the western Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan, built around the Arrow deposit, which the company says is the largest high-grade uranium deposit under development in the world. NexGen says Arrow is permitted to produce 30 million pounds of uranium a year, which it puts at more than 20% of world primary supply. It is exploring the nearby Patterson Corridor East. It is a mine developer and does not design or operate reactors.
