Southwest Jiaotong University is a public science and engineering university in Chengdu, Sichuan, founded in 1896 and historically known for railway engineering. The IAEA World Survey of Fusion Devices, published in 2022, lists it as the institution behind CFQS, a stellarator (a fusion device that confines plasma in a twisted magnetic field made by shaped coils), and records the device as under construction. We have not opened a later source on the device's progress.
