CORE POWER is a London company, with offices in Washington DC and Tokyo, that develops nuclear power for ships and for floating or coastal power plants. It does not design its own reactor; it works as an integrator of other companies' reactors, covering the vessel, certification and delivery. In November 2024 it agreed with Westinghouse to design a floating nuclear power plant using Westinghouse's eVinci heat-pipe microreactor and to develop a licensing approach for floating plants (World Nuclear News). Its earlier plan to use a molten-salt reactor is no longer its stated approach.
