Nuclear South West is a public-private partnership of industry, universities and the public sector that promotes the nuclear sector in South West England to investors and helps local businesses win nuclear work. The partnership describes Hinkley Point C, whose two EPR reactors are expected to supply about 7% of the nation's electricity, as the cornerstone of the region's nuclear industry; the region also has decommissioning sites such as Oldbury in South Gloucestershire. The partnership signposts supply-chain opportunities and support programmes and runs events. In September 2026 it marked one year since returning to full activity under a refreshed board. It does not build or operate nuclear plants.
