Kozloduy NPP is the company that operates Bulgaria's only nuclear power plant, on the Danube near the town of Kozloduy, and is a subsidiary of Bulgarian Energy Holding. The plant now runs two pressurised water reactors with 2,000 MWe gross. Its four older VVER-440/230 units were shut between 2004 and the end of 2006 under an agreement with the European Commission ahead of Bulgaria's EU accession. In 2021 it signed a second fuel supply agreement with Westinghouse, and as of 2026 two new units, 7 and 8, using the AP1000 design, are proposed, according to Wikipedia.
