Together with our strategic partner, Siemens Energy, and a network of leading industrial suppliers in Europe and in the United States, we’re aiming to unlock the potential of fusion energy for unlimited, competitive, and reliable power generation.
With the underlying physics validated, we’re focusing on the ignition process as the key to making laser-based inertial fusion energy commercially viable. This includes alternative fuel cycles for ignition, investigating cost-effective energy extraction technologies, and potentially eliminating the need for tritium in the fuel cycle.
To date, we’ve secured more than USD 400 million in public and private funding from leading European venture capital firms, strategic industrial partners, family offices, and public investors. Marvel Fusion is led by Co-Founder and CEO Moritz von der Linden, CSO Prof. Dr. Hartmut Ruhl, COO Heike Freund, and CFO Dr. Nicolas Burkardt, combining scientific excellence with industrial and financial leadership to scale fusion energy toward commercial deployment.
